Early Start Speech Pathology has been a platinum sponsor of the Lake Macquarie City Council’s You’re Kidding Me Program for ten consecutive years.
As part of our sponsorship, we offer FREE speech and language screeners and informative FREE talks throughout the year at Lake Macquarie Libraries. More information can be found via the Lake Mac Councils website.
Early Start Speech Pathology offers Jesmond Early Learning and Education Centre subsidised group programs throughout the year to support our local families are accessing speech pathology services.
Woodberry Community Preschool is another centre Early Start provides subsidied group programs throughout the year to support local children and families to access speech pathology services.
Early Start Speech Pathology have supported and collaborated with the Gateway Learning Cluster of schools for the last 6 years, conducting annual Kindergarten screening, collaborative speech and language programs in their schools and running school speech groups for these school students.
Early Start Speech Pathology offer free talks within the community to schools and preschools, promoting school readiness skills and speech and language challenges.
Early Start Speech Pathology were successful to have obtained a Primary Health Network Allied Health Reconnection Grant in 2023-2024. This grant is supporting a local preschool and their cluster primary schools in ensuring those children received Early Intervention Services and were school ready.
We are annual sponsors of Newcastle’s Special Children’s Christmas Party.
